The Pathfinder Group

Courses are conducted at the Parachute Training Facility Located at Texel which is located on an island in the northwestern part of Holland, The Netherlands.

You will be taught everything you need to know for the course while at Texel. Students, under the supervison of instructors, will even learn how to check and pack their own chutes. The fine art of PLFs (parachute landing falls) will be mastered in addition to emergency proceedures should they be needed.

The primary training aircraft used during the course is the AN-2 Colt. This aircraft model was the type used as a primary trainer for the former Soviet Unions airborne forces. It is a very reliable aircraft and is one of the world's largest bi-planes. The DC-3 Dakota is also used upon occasion while training as well as for almost all of the commemorative jumps.
